Best Frontend Component Built with BOS

BOS (Blockchain Operating System) is the easiest way to build and deploy your frontend on-chain by creating a JSX Component. All of the frontend source code on BOS is stored on-chain on Near, making your frontend fully decentralized and open-source. While the frontend is on Near, it can interact with smart contracts on any EVM chain in the backend. Components are also composable, meaning you can reuse and remix different components together and embed them into your dapp.

You are encouraged to incorporate this challenge into your submission for ETHGlobal Waterloo by creating a frontend component for your final project with BOS and deploying it on near.org. You can also build a custom BOS frontend for any existing EVM dapp as your final submission (see examples of BOS components for 1inch, Lido, or Uniswap, for inspiration).

Selection Criteria

Base Criteria (all submissions):

• You must submit a link to your dapp or project with a live, working BOS Component
• The component should prompt the user to connect their Ethereum Wallet of choice
• The component should display on-chain data (e.g. account balance / tokens), and allow the user to make a transaction through it

ProofService: Continue validation API

Description

ProofService is a zero-trust identity relationship creation/query protocol. We have a reference implementation called proof_server.

The binding relationship between a web2 identity and ProofService's web3 identity (named Avatar) is done through cryptography signing and "Proof Post" mechanism.

Currently, if a user encounters a problem (e.g., client crashed / closed) submitting their proof post to the NextID server after posting it on target platform, NextID's process doesn’t allow the user to continue the process from this proof post with zero additional info.

We would like to add an API to allow users to restart the verification process from an existing proof post, without other info fetched from POST /v1/proof/payload.

From now, all info needed for restart validation procedure is included in the proof post itself (incl. signature, UUID, created_at timestamp, previous proof’s signature).

You need to create an API except only the proof post’s location, and recover the “site” only from proof post’s content, then continue validation and saving procedure just like a normal one.

Acceptance Criteria

An API (named by you), request with proof post’s location, platform and identity, response like POST /v1/proof .

Modify type IValidator interface , add a new function: Continue() (err error) for your core logic.

You can always use your own code structure design if you feel something is wrong.

• Corruption, climate change, terrorism - these are threats the world must solve together. And yet building together often requires trust among strangers and can lead to centralization of power.
• To solve this, Aragon OSx is a DAO framework, enabling communities to manage their assets in a decentralized and trustless way.
• Through its modular architecture, organizations can easily install and uninstall plugins into their DAOs, enabling greater transparency and equity within communities.

Bounty #2: 💰Build a plugin that helps DAOs raise funds [$2,500]

👀 Description During the last bull run, DAOs proved to be a great mechanism for raising funds. Projects like ConstitutionDAO, for example, were able to show the world how raising funds in crypto could lead to “real-world” actions and impact. Some examples of characteristics that have made this possible:

• a) DAO tokens added to liquidity pools. This enables DAO tokens to be instantly exchanged with other assets, granting them liquidity and value.
• b) Bonding curves as a way of ossifying the relationship between token price and supply.
• c) Rage quit functionality, meaning a person can leave the DAO and take a representative share of the treasury’s value based on how many DAO tokens they own.
• d) Among other non-technical characteristics like good marketing, relatable mission, good roadmap, trusted team, etc.. With this bounty, we want to see an Aragon OSx Plugin that enables DAOs to raise funds easily - be it through facilitating any of the above mentioned examples, or through crafting your own strategy!
