Currently, K-pop fans are actively creating derivative works based on their beloved idols, but there are significant challenges in this space. First, the financial rewards from these fan creations never benefit the idols themselves. Second, because of this, fans often feel a moral burden when trying to earn rewards from their creative efforts and are compelled to share their work for free. Third, some fans even attack creators who seek rewards, accusing them of prioritizing money over passion, which leads to conflict within the community.

As a result, the hard work and passion poured into these creations often go unrecognized, leaving both idols and fans unable to enjoy a sustainable creative culture.

To address these issues, we propose a platform where idols can indirectly benefit from fan creations. Fans can purchase derivative works created by fan creators, and a portion of the revenue will be used to buy official idol merchandise or make donations in the idol’s name. This system allows fans to continue their creative activities without guilt, while idols receive recognition for inspiring those works.

Our platform uses a dual-token system with USDC for transactions and KRE tokens for rewards. Creators mint and sell their fan creations as NFTs, with revenue transparently distributed via blockchain: a portion is burned to sustain token value, and the rest is shared between creators and artists. Users earn KRE tokens through engagement (e.g., reposts, comments) while using them for fan merchandise or donations. Partnering with Chiliz for NFT technology and Dynamic for onboarding, we’ve built a sustainable ecosystem where fans, creators, and idols all benefit.
