This is a hands-on technical workshop introducing ETH SF hackers to NEAR’s new JavaScript SDK designed to lower the barrier of entry for developers to build decentralized applications. JavaScript is the most popular programming language, used by nearly 14 million developers worldwide. With the NEAR JS SDK, you can write smart contracts in JavaScript or Typescript, and our SDK will pack them with a lightweight runtime. This can then be compiled into a single WASM file to be deployed into the NEAR network.
