Mina is the first Layer-1 blockchain with support for zero-knowledge smart contracts, zkApps. This workshop will discuss their unique benefits and introduce developers to the Mina blockchain, zkApp architecture, and SnarkyJS, the TypeScript library we use to write zero-knowledge smart contracts on Mina. We hope that attendees will walk away with a better understanding of what zero-knowledge proofs are, why they are so powerful in the context of blockchains, and how Mina fits into this ecosystem.
