WoS Phrame

Pharo is an Automated Cover Market Maker. Exchange AMMs (eg. Uniswap, Gravity) automate exchange rates. Pharo is a Cover AMM that automates event risk (ie. shit happening). Pharo is an evolution of the Automated Market Maker concept (AMM). In an Exchange AMM, Sellers are facilitated by Liquidity Providers who are rewarded for assuming the risk until a Buyer can be found. In a Cover AMM, Cover Buyers (CBs) are facilitated by Liquidity Providers (LPs), who are also rewarded for assuming the risk of covering an event before it’s expected to happen. Pharo can be thought of as an Event Risk Swap, where CBs pay stability premiums for their cover needs, and LPs accept that risk by collecting those premiums.

For this hack, we've built an interface to the Pharo SHIBA INU Marketplace using Farcaster Frames, which we like to call Pharo Phrames. With these Phrames, users can get PHRO, then give their rate estimate to open a cover policy.

In the phuture, we may use Pharo Phrames to create an affiliate system. Influencers will automatically receive PHRO when users open policies with phrames they share. Also, after the Wisdom of Stakeholders is proven using SHIBA INU, we would like to create a no-code interface for creating new Pharo Markets.

The Pharo SHIBA INU Marketplace is a set of:

1. solidity contracts holding policies, marketplaces, and liquidity
2. python FastAPI serving premium statistical calculations, celery beat premium collection, and websocket listeners for contract's new policies and market events.
