This project is a web application that allows users to instantly check the current USD value of any ERC-20 token on the Ethereum mainnet. Users can input either a token symbol (like LINK, UNI, WETH) or a full contract address, and the application fetches real-time pricing data through 1inch's token and quote APIs. The interface is clean and user-friendly, displaying the token name, symbol, and current USD price in an easy-to-read format. The application includes comprehensive error handling for invalid inputs and network issues, making it accessible for both crypto beginners and experienced users who need quick token valuations.

The project is built using Next.js 15 with React 19 and TypeScript for type safety. The frontend uses Tailwind CSS for modern, responsive styling. The application integrates with two 1inch APIs: the Token API for fetching token metadata and the Quote API for real-time price data via USDC conversion. The backend consists of Next.js API routes that handle token search and spot price fetching, with proper error handling and validation. The application validates token addresses using regex patterns and provides user-friendly error messages. The entire stack is deployed as a single-page application with server-side API handling for secure API key management."
