Our project is a crypto-based insurance solution for global travelers and rental car companies. Traditional insurance systems often suffer from complex procedures, long processing times, and delayed payouts, especially with international claims. These issues create significant inconvenience and uncertainty for travelers.
We leverage blockchain technology to solve these inefficiencies. With smart contracts, insurance claims are processed immediately, and customers receive payouts shortly after an incident. Every transaction is securely recorded on the blockchain, ensuring transparency and trust.
Additionally, rental car companies benefit from simplified communication with international customers and streamlined claims processes. The automated system increases customer satisfaction through prompt payouts and easier claims handling. This project sets a new standard for global travel and rental car insurance by eliminating the inefficiencies of traditional systems.
Our project combines several web3 and blockchain technologies to streamline the insurance process:
Web3Auth is integrated to simplify login, enabling both crypto wallet users and non-wallet users to log in through social media accounts. This makes the onboarding process seamless for all.
XMTP enables real-time communication between users and insurance providers. It allows users to submit claims, sign contracts, and upload accident photos, all within a chat interface.
We use Sign Protocol to handle digital contract signing. After users submit insurance claim details, they sign the document digitally, ensuring secure and tamper-proof agreements stored on the blockchain.
Vroombuddy’s insurance contract is deployed on the Hedera Testnet, allowing secure, fast, and low-cost transactions. All claims and payouts are processed via smart contracts.
