Volt is a Web3 polling platform offering seamless login with Web3Auth, private messaging via XMTP, and anonymous voting with MACI + Privy. Designed for DAOs, Volt ensures privacy, trust, and fairness while simplifying governance for all.
Volt: A Privacy-Focused Web3 Polling Bot App
Volt uses Web3Auth for easy login, making it accessible to both Web2 and Web3 users. After login, your identity connects to XMTP, enabling secure, decentralized messaging with the Volt polling bot. This ensures a smooth and user-friendly experience.
With Minimal Anti-Collusion Infrastructure (MACI) and Privy, Volt guarantees anonymous and secure voting. A new Privy account is created for every vote, keeping your identity completely private and your participation untraceable.
Volt empowers communities and DAOs with a fair, tamper-proof polling system. By combining secure identities, private communication, and blockchain technology, Volt builds trust in every vote and decision.
Beyond governance, Volt opens opportunities for innovation:
Volt is more than a polling platform; it’s a powerful tool for governance, innovation, and community building in the Web3 ecosystem. Whether for DAOs, product teams, or decentralized communities, Volt redefines decision-making in a secure and privacy-centric way.
Our project is based on ZKP to prove that "the decrypted votes are tallied correctly" without "publicly decrypting them", so that the informations about the users are still hidden. Besides, we extend the voting system to include more features like anonymity (by creating multiple new wallet with Privy), AI-resistance (by verify the votes with WorldID), and channels to keep communication with the voters (by XMTP). We have also verified our contracts on blockscout to make sure they work as expected. In the future Sign Protocol will also be integrated into out project to make the polling result more trustable.
