Prediction markets like Polymarket have skyrocketed in usage this year thanks to politics and sports betting. But what if there was a prediction market focused on social media and the internet arena?

We built Viral.games for users to bet on what content and creators will go viral on X, YouTube, and Farcaster. Users bet onchain or via points ($USDV) on which content will get the most views, likes, and engagement. Bets can happen through the web app or points ($USDV) bets can be made simply by commenting on X, YouTube or using Farcaster Frames. For a social media prediction market, we wanted to meet the user right where they already are on the platform.

It's a web app with Web3Auth login built on top of both Polymarket markets, Limitless.exchange markets, and custom markets implemented by us.

Users can submit transactions to bet onchain or bet via the point system, $USDV. Users can also bet directly from commenting on tweets on X, commenting on YouTube videos, or using Farcaster frames or cast actions to directly bet without leaving the platform.

The frontend is a React app and it's built on Superbase on the backend on top of Base and Polygon. We use Sign Protocol to sign an attestation of every bet, and we use Hedera, Rootstocks, Chiliz, and Phoenix for issuing points for the user.
