In 2024, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour broke the internet, and Ticketmaster, by sheer demand. It is estimated that Ticketmaster collects 10-15% of revenue on both buyers and sellers. Several fans sued Ticketmaster for many violations such as intentional deception, fraud, price fixing, and antitrust. Other Web2 options such as Stubhub and SeatGeek have centralized, high middleman fees, no transparency while other web3 options such as YellowHeart and Fair.xyz NFT ticketing platforms focus on minting, and not bidding/auctions. This is where TicketBid fills the gap!

VeriTix is a ticket selling platform that puts value and trust in transactions back in the marketplace.

For the seller, VeriTix offers an instant transfer of money without any need for settlement, as well as a chance to sell tickets.

For the buyer, VeriTix puts money back into the buyer’s pockets by drastically reducing middleman fees. There’s also an added layer of transparency and trust on the chain, verifying the authenticity of the ticket, as well as each bid and transaction.

This is just the beginning. We plan on adding cross chain and multi-token functionality, making it truly accessible for everyone. We also plan on adding an agent to buy tickets for you, as well as DiD (decentralized identification) to add another layer of security and authenticity.
