Vane

Vane Wallet is a voice-controlled Ethereum wallet for Alexa, designed to make wallet management as simple as a conversation. Built using the Vane Toolkit, this AI-powered wallet enables users to create wallets, check balances, manage contacts, and send transactions using voice commands.

At its core, Vane is more than just a wallet; it's an AI agent creation toolkit that simplifies building and deploying intelligent assistants. Instead of relying on prompt engineering, Vane CLI allows developers and non-technical users to iteratively define AI agent behavior through natural conversations.

The wallet integrates Privy.io for secure, server-based wallet management with strict default policies that ensure that transactions can only be sent to whitelisted addresses or after successful security verification. This makes Vane Wallet safe and family-friendly.

By combining conversational AI, Web3, and voice interfaces, Vane transforms complex technical experiences into simple ones, making AI agent development and blockchain accessible to mainstream users.

Vane Wallet runs on Node.js, with AWS Lambda handling Alexa requests and DynamoDB storing wallet data. Privy secures outgoing transactions by enforcing a deny-all policy for values > 0, unless contacts are whitelisted/security checks pass.

The AI-powered Vane CLI Toolkit compiles agentic logic into Covalent’s AgentKit and Vercel AI SDK, enabling conversational development instead of traditional prompts. A web-based editor (vane-editor.vercel.app) extends CLI functionality to the browser.

For voice interactions, we built a custom Alexa skill using the Alexa Skills Kit (ASK).
