Built for the “Build Unchained Apps with Avail” track at ETHOnline 2025, UniVail connects fragmented ecosystems into one unified liquidity layer. Users can bridge tokens across EVM chains like Ethereum, Polygon, and Arbitrum using smart intents that automatically handle execution, refunds, and expirations—no manual intervention required.

Unifying Value in Avail — Building the Unchained Future at ETHOnline 2025.

UniVail was built from the ground up using the Avail Nexus SDK, combining the power of Nexus Core for intent orchestration and Nexus Widget for seamless cross-chain bridging UX. The app leverages Avail’s Unchained infrastructure to abstract away chain fragmentation, enabling users to bridge tokens across EVM networks like Ethereum, Polygon, and Arbitrum with a single intent.

The frontend is built with React 18, TypeScript, Vite, and Tailwind CSS, designed as a fast, modular, and mobile-first interface. Wagmi and Web3Modal handle wallet connections and contract interactions, while Lucide icons and responsive Tailwind layouts deliver a clean, intuitive user experience.

All on-chain interactions flow through Nexus Core’s intent execution layer, which manages execution, refunds, and expirations automatically. The Nexus Widget is embedded into UniVail to provide users with a unified bridge interface that syncs with their portfolio dashboard and intent explorer.

A particularly hacky and fun part of the build was using multiple large language models (LLMs) to accelerate prototyping—helping generate React components, debug Wagmi hooks, and refine smart intent flows in real time. This allowed for rapid iteration across both the frontend UI and the Avail SDK integrations.

By tightly coupling Avail’s Unchained architecture with a modern web stack, UniVail achieves a truly frictionless, intent-driven bridging experience that embodies the “Build Unchained Apps with Avail” vision.
