Running a family-owned convenience store in Mongolia has been both a rewarding and exhausting journey. Our store is open 24/7, but finding reliable part-time employees has always been a challenge. I've faced issues like workers not showing up for shifts, theft, or leaving without warning. Many part-timers have also expressed frustrations with their previous employers—complaints about not being paid, feeling mistreated, or simply not trusting that they'd receive what they were promised.

I quickly realized I wasn't alone. In talking with other small franchise owners, it became clear that we all share the same struggle—the lack of trust between employers and employees. It's this gap in trust that inspired me to explore a solution through blockchain technology.

Trust Me is a decentralized protocol designed to address exactly this problem by revolutionizing part-time work verification through blockchain-based reputation scoring. It enables trustless verification of temporary workers through an innovative reputation system built on smart contracts, ensuring transparency and reliability for both employers and employees.

How It Works

1. Reputation Pod Creation

   • Users create a personal Reputation Pod on the Ethereum network.
   • Every user starts with an initial reputation score of 0.
   • The protocol automatically stakes an initial Pod deposit for each user.

2. Building Trust

   • Reputation grows as workers complete verified tasks.
   • All interactions are secured using cryptographic signatures through the Sign Protocol.
   • Both employers and employees must confirm the task's completion, ensuring accountability.

3. Incentive Mechanism

   • The initial Pod deposit is locked in BitDSM.
   • As a worker’s reputation grows, they gain access to their locked deposit, providing an incentive for honest work and participation.

1. BitDSM: Protocol has a Reputation Pod and delegates 10000 Sats for each user. It is locked right away and only unlocked when a user reaches a certain reputation score. This initial amount works as both a reputation and reward when the user has 0 score.
2. Dynamic: Very simple signup/login flow -> web2 experience since user does not need any tokens (we abstract it with the help of dynamic)
3. SignProtocol: Both employee and employer signs a schema for each task beginning and completion which acts as a reputation scoring.
4. Blockscout: Each transaction is shown via blockscout explorer
5. World: All KYC is easily handled with the help of World ID.
6. Pyth: We use the Pyth Entropy to resolve challenges using the random number in case all other options fail
7. Chronicle: Fetches BTC price feed
