This project implements a decentralized trust service for crypto assets (currently only supporting ether). It allows anyone to create a trust contract, deposit funds, and assign beneficiary. The contract also enforces the trust owner to make regular check-in when he/she can. If the trust owner failed to check in within the set threshold time window, the beneficiary can then claim funds from the trust contract.
As newbies to building smart contracts, we didn't build anything fancy in this time-limited Hackathon. We built a simple but useful smart contract with solidity and tested it on the Kovan testnet. We also worked on building a web interface for it, but there is a bug we couldn't resolve in time so we decided to present it with remix IDE.
