Project Description
We want to incentivize users to build more cool stuff, have a centralized dashboard for all hackathons, and get rewarded trophies. Trophies.xyz aims to provide the best hacker experience across all platforms and the incentivization layer for all hackathons. Each trophy would be minted as an NFT that would live on Base, forever solidifying your win.
How it's Made
This platform uses Base to mint NFTs to people who identify themselves with an associated user on Devpost, ETHGlobal*, and Dorahacks* through Worldcoin . We use NextJS for the front end and Python for the back end, there are some limitations, especially with API access with the hackathon platforms, where we can only access Devposts' and not any other big platform such as ETHGlobal and Dorahacks. It uses Python for the scraping for the Devpost and sends the information back to the frontend for them to mint.
