Trdelnik.ai is an AI-powered travel assistant that curates personalized historic itineraries in Prague using intelligent agents and decentralized data. Built for everyday tourists, it tailors recommendations based on the user’s interests (e.g., food, parties, architecture, nature), language, season, and travel style. The system is powered by four core AI agents:

Historian Agent - Finds and explains monuments using verified data from Lighthouse DAO.

Tour Guide Agent - Matches places to the user’s persona and energy level.

Language Agent - Translates content to the user’s language with cultural context.

Itinerary Planner Agent - Creates full daily travel plans optimized by time, location, and preferences.

All monument data is stored on IPFS, and user interactions are logged on Flow. Travelers can mint “Memory NFTs” as digital souvenirs and help preserve local heritage by contributing data via Lighthouse DAO.

Trdelnik.ai blends cultural preservation with consumer-grade UX, like a sweet Czech pastry, it’s rich in tradition, crafted with care, and delightfully personal.

How it's Made

Trdelnik.ai is a multi-agent AI travel assistant built using Python and LangChain, powered by GPT-4o for natural language and personalized itinerary generation. The system includes four specialized agents—Historian, Tour Guide, Language, and Itinerary Planner—that collaborate to deliver tailored Prague travel plans.

We store monument metadata as JSON files on IPFS, with updates managed through Lighthouse DAO for decentralized community contributions. User interactions and “Memory NFTs” are recorded on the Flow blockchain using Cadence smart contracts, enabling proof of visits and personalized rewards.

The frontend is built with Next.js and TailwindCSS, providing an intuitive chat-based UI where users input preferences and receive dynamic, day-by-day plans. Key technical tricks include caching IPFS data locally for speed, dynamic persona switching mid-session, and short-circuiting agent calls for quick responses.

Partner technologies like Flow and Lighthouse DAO helped us achieve decentralization, scalability, and easy NFT minting, while LangChain simplified multi-agent orchestration.
