Self-learning portal through which new developers can track their progress and showcase their growth through Soulbound Tokens
Purpose The Lily Pad will serve as the community's web-portal. This will be both an avenue through which resources and events/opportunities will be communicated and a HUB/Profile that allows members to track their self-learning progress. Content The landing page will showcase current and upcoming events as well as community member successes/projects. additional sections to include: Dedicated Project Showcase Useful dapps and community made tools A Resource/Course Library The intent here is to supply a compilation of community vetted materials and courses broken down by topic, goal and difficulty Completion of the compiled modules will be tracked in the user profile and will be rewarded with profile XP and tracked as accolades on the member's Soulbound Token. Discussion/Collaboration section for seeking teams and team members for collaborative projects Access to some features may be cordoned off based on profile level and/or the possession of a Soulbound Token. This is more in an effort to encourage people to learn productively and establish foundations than it is meant to be exclusionary. Member Profile Member Profile Features: View a compilation of your achievements (current XP, profile level, accolades obtained) Create/View personal road maps (See Road Maps for more details) View/Access Tip Jar functionality We want this web-portal to exist in such a way as to serve as the ultimate guide for those learning to code in Web3. There are tried and tested steps people have taken to be successful and we want to clearly communicate and walk curious minds through the process of taking those steps. Through compiling vetted resources that the community has ACTUALLY used themselves and providing support to those consuming those resources we can offer far more structure to the self learning process than otherwise is available.
We're connecting to Web3 with RainbowUI wallet as we've really liked how simple it is to employ and customize, backend is javascript/typescript/solidity we're using the hardhat framework and we're deploying on Polygon as a low gas L2 solution.
Front end we're coding in NextJS and Node, we'll be hosting a relational database for offchain data.
