Telegram bot to make it easy for token holders to vote and look at upcoming / existing proposals.
Project Description
This project is a telegram bot for people to sign in with their wallets and stay up to date regarding dao votes and proposals.
Users can sign in with their wallet and opt to receive updates on upcoming votes. Furthermore, the process is gamified - projects can opt to reward voters accordingly
How it's Made
This project is built using python (python-telegram-bot ) and snapshot graphql API.
I first started by setting up a telegram bot using BotFather to get an api key. I then used the python-telegram-bot library to handle incoming messages and send responses.
Afterwards, I integrated Snapshot GraphQL API to fetch data about proposals, spaces, and votes. The technically challenging part was implementing code to ensure that the commands works.
