Project Description
SWAG 3 leverages blockchain to offer a decentralized e-commerce platform akin to Shopify, empowering merchants to build and manage their online stores with ease. Blockchain integration enhances security, guarantees transaction transparency, and ensures immutable records of sales and inventory. By eliminating intermediaries and slashing transaction fees, SWAG 3 presents a more cost-effective and efficient solution for online retail.
How it's Made
We built SWAG 3 using PostgreSQL for the database, Medusa.js for the backend, and Next.js with React.js for the frontend. We integrated Redis for caching, WalletConnect for seamless crypto wallet integration, and Depay for payments. The platform supports Ethereum, Polygon, Base, and ApeCoin chains. Notably, our hacky solution involved optimizing transaction speeds by smartly leveraging Redis and Medusa.js for real-time data handling.
