Superchain ONFT

This project combines onchain interoperability made possible by LayerZero and offchain capabilities of frames to bring a user friendly mint on both Base and Zora to Farcaster in a single frame. The art depends on the network of a user's choice and the whole edition would require multiple mint transactions for the full collection!

This is one of the first omnichain NFT experiences on Farcaster and I am excited to continue this project by building frames for bridging ONFTs as well as more complex mint mechanisms natively via frames.js

The smart contract is an open sourced instance of ONFT powered by LayerZero v1. It is an open edition mint with ~$1 price, 90% of which go directly to the creator. The metadata is set differently on different networks which leads to the artwork on Base and Zora chains being completely different despite being the part of the same collection!

The frontend is built with frames.js and hosted on Vercel. It takes advantage of transactional frames to enable a custom mint on both Base and Zora at the same time, as well as a simple navigation between two chains and the mint confirmation screens.
