Project Description

StakeJam is a decentralized staking platform that lets users stake tokens on promising projects or developers — backing skill and contribution instead of speculation. Each “role” (e.g., Python Developer, Solidity Engineer) has its own pool of projects where users can allocate stakes. Projects accumulate credibility and TVL based on community support. The goal is to build a transparent, merit-driven funding ecosystem where on-chain signals represent trust and talent, not hype.

How it's Made

StakeJam is built using Hardhat v3, Viem, and OpenZeppelin v5 for smart contracts, deployed on Sepolia. The frontend is built in Next.js 16 with Wagmi, RainbowKit, and TailwindCSS, enabling wallet connection and staking interaction directly from the browser. We use a mock database layer to simulate projects, roles, and staking activity, which can later be connected to smart contracts. The architecture is modular — contracts manage roles and projects, while the frontend uses Viem hooks to handle staking transactions and display live activity feeds.
