Social fitness platform built on Lens protocol and forked from Lenster.
Our team is excited to build a fitness based social platform on lens protocol (similar to what is known as Strava however, with access to all forms of exercise: strength, endurance, metcons, etc.) Users can form "teams" with other users that can post daily workouts or goals for the team to hit. Currently, no platform has the ability to combine social interaction with workout. Strava and other fitness social platforms just shares what you did that day. Our product would also include a "trending" homepage for the top workouts of the day in different domains (ie powerlifting, bodybuilding, running, crossfit, etc etc). We're excited to build at this hackathon given our vision of using blockchain as a tool to provide efficiency in the data sharing world (in this case fitness and socials) and building social value through wellness and data ownership. In this case, we are empowering individuals to own their own fitness and wellness journey to help empower their own social network in similar wellness journeys as well.
This project is built on Lens protocol and forked from Lenster. We used Lens' official indexer to interact with the Lens api, ethersjs to interact with the LensHub smart contracts, and Next.js for the front-end. The social media aspect is forked from https://gitlab.com/lenster/lenster to focus on applying the fitness aspect to the social graph. We differ from other Lens social platforms by only querying your workout posts on Sparta. Rather than pulling all posts, users only see past workouts that you have posted on sparta.
