In web3, the “Forgot my password” button doesn’t exist in a normal way
Existing schemes are vulnerable to
- Guardians’ security can get compromized
- Notification - reduce collusion event likelihood
We developed a security solution for social key recovery schemes MM snaps + Cryptosat satellites
This addresses managing of notifications and audit-trail thus reducing collusion likelihood.
How it's Made
We've used the MM Snaps framework, Snappy Recovery example by Ziad Saab (https://github.com/ziad-saab/snappy-recovery)
We've integrated it with backend API of Cryptosat satellite's digital twin (lab/test environment) for storage and event auditing.
The repository includes the front end web product and satellites communication backend API
