Authentic videos recorded using a smartphone app get converted into NFTs. This helps fight deep fakes which are synthetically generated.

Deep fakes are increasing exponentially and its hard to tell looking at a video if it was original or if any changes were made to it. This technology allows tracking of changes so that a user can determine if it was real or not.

Project uses watermarking technologies to mark videos. NFT integration TBD.

The android app uses apis to record videos. A cryptographic hash is generated and stored as a ledger entry on an Eth smart contract. The NFT integration is still to be done.

We do believe that NFTs can hold the key to tracking modifications to authentic content and distinguish against deepfakes.
