Project Description

Solidarity is a project that supports social causes, mainly non-poverty and environmental conservation. It is a donation platform, through a collection of NFTs. The project aims to help social causes and at the same time sponsor it with a monthly recurring income, derived from the return of the original donation. Promoting transparency through the use of blockchain.

Unlike a traditional donation, which provides for the direct allocation of the resource to the cause, "Solidarity" seeks to help the charitable cause generate a recurring monthly income based on returns.

The interest generated will be distributed 45% to the cause, 50% going back to the donor and 5% to development. The donor can choose to have all interest generated go entirely to the cause. Users will be able to track their donation, see the cause to which they donated and the benefits it is generating with full transparency. Solidarity's first collection of NFTs is called "Trees of hope". Trees are major players in the life of the planet and nature, they symbolize growth and development. These oil paintings are drawn from the perspective of children, who imagine and capture love and hope in trees, which will endure in time in a better world. You donate when you buy an NFT and at the same time, the NFT is proof that your donation was deposited to a certain cause and with the transparency of being able to observe the destination of that income. These NFTs communicate the social cause in a positive way, they don't communicate the problem, but something inspiring.

How it's Made

In terms of technology, the social welfare project uses Filecoin's NFT storage to store NFT data, NFTPort to generate NFTs through its API and implement them on the Polygon blockchain, and ENS is used to identify NFT wallets. a user-friendly way. With the proceeds from the sale of the NFT a deposit is made in AAVE, to generate returns and with these you can have a passive income for social aid projects. We are using Lens Protocol, to create a community of Solidarity donors. Mainly used to make visible the generous actions that are done with your donation, tell stories that encourage more people to donate to social causes.
