Supercharging Blockscout open-source explorer with social context
Prize Pool
This project helps Blockscout users make sense of blockchain transactions quicker by adding verified Twitter labels to onchain addresses.
• You instantly recognize your identity, distinguish it from other data in the explorer's interface, and boost your confidence in using the right address. • Interacting with @username instead of a regular address gives you more context about the other wallets and a way to message the owner. • Helps with verifying whether a given address is a real human.
Our project integrates IDriss address book protocol into the Blockscout's user interface in order to provide social context about wallets, by displaying verified Twitter labels alongside existing Farcaster labels. IDriss is the largest onchain permisionless mapping of Twitter usernames to public wallet addresses.
