Sisifos, a lightweight but powerful system that tracks and rewards participation across blockchains
In Web3 today, most recognition is given to traders, speculators, or early investors — but the people who actually use the tools, test new chains, and engage with cross-chain systems often go unnoticed. That’s what we set out to change.
With Sisyfos, we bring together 1inch Fusion+ and Blockscout to create a seamless, automated merit system. When a user completes a real token transfer — say, swapping tokens from Ethereum to NEAR using Fusion+ — we automatically detect that transaction via Blockscout’s APIs.
Once the transaction is verified, we assign Merit points to the user’s wallet using Blockscout’s REST API. These points reflect real effort: exploration, testing, cross-chain usage. Users can view their wallet score, history of completed tasks, and open every transaction directly on Blockscout.
We use Blockscout as our only explorer throughout the project — from fetching balances and txs, to verifying transfers and assigning merits. We’re not just linking to Blockscout — we’re building entirely on top of it.
This makes our project a perfect fit for the Merits Use Case, Best Explorer Integration, and the Blockscout Explorer Pool prize categories.
Beyond the tech, Sisyfos represents a simple but important idea: that contribution should count. DAOs, education platforms, and onboarding programs could all use this system to track real engagement — not just volume or speculation.
So to summarize: we use Fusion+ for secure, gasless cross-chain swaps; we use Blockscout for activity tracking and transaction details; and we use the Merits API to assign visible, meaningful recognition to the users behind those actions.
This project uses Blockscout APIs for bpoth tracking user's cross-chain swap transactions and rewarding this transactions with Merit points. Everytime an user does a crosschain swap they win points. Plus, this cross-chain swaps are made by 1inch's fusion+ technology. This technology enables users to swap
