Project Description
The platform underscores the initial stance taken by those championing for crypto, which began with Coinbase's launch of the Stand With Crypto NFT. In concert with this, leading crypto entities like Polygon, Gnosis, and ApeCoin are participating by minting shield NFTs, token-gated symbols of resistance. Users must own the Coinbase Stand With Crypto NFT to mint these additional NFTs, forging a connected chain of crypto advocacy. This cross chain gating is all made possible due to Sismo Connect.
Crucially, for each shield NFT minted, users also become eligible for shield ERC20 tokens. This further incentivizes participation and strengthens the symbolic connection between individuals and the broader advocacy effort. The eligibility and distribution of these shield ERC20 tokens are also facilitated through Sismo Connect, maintaining the platform's commitment to privacy and transparency.
This commitment is manifested in the use of Sismo Connect, an application that mitigates against airdrop farming by ensuring only genuine supporters engage in the campaign. Sismo Connect generates a Zero-Knowledge (ZK) proof that allows users to validate ownership without exposing their identity or depositing address, reinforcing the platform's dedication to user privacy.
How it's Made
The platform is built using Next.js 13 for frontend development, providing a responsive and intuitive user interface. Smart contracts for token gating are written in Solidity, and deployed using foundry, ensuring secure and reliable interactions. Integration with the Sismo Connect package facilitates Zero-Knowledge (ZK) proofs, enabling privacy-preserving token ownership verification. This combination of tech delivers a secure and user-friendly platform for crypto advocacy.
