Fraud protection for agentic payments using programmable holds, bonds, and auto rollback.
SettleGuard is a payment safety layer designed for systems where transactions execute instantly but finality must remain controlled. It introduces risk-aware settlement by allowing payments to complete in stages, rather than becoming irreversible by default. Each transaction is evaluated based on context, trust, and behavior, enabling low-risk activity to finalize automatically while higher-risk activity is paused, approved, or safely reversed. This approach protects users, merchants, and platforms from fraud, routing errors, and compromised automation, without sacrificing speed or user experience. SettleGuard makes fast payments safer by ensuring that money only becomes final when it should — not simply when it can.`````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
SettleGuard is built by combining instant execution with disciplined settlement. We use Yellow Network to deliver real-time, off-chain payment execution so user interactions feel immediate while final settlement remains controlled. Transactions execute instantly on Yellow rails, but on-chain finality is gated behind our authorization layer. Low-risk flows settle automatically, while higher-risk payments pause for approval or unwind safely. For cross-chain payments, we integrate LI.FI to create transfer intent while delaying settlement until routes, destinations, and merchant trust are verified. ENS is used as a human-readable merchant identity layer, publishing signed attestations that bind identity, keys, trust tier, and bond level. Together, these components prove that fast payments don’t require blind trust — speed and control can coexist by design.
