SE7EN Carnival

The game is a mini digital carnival that has different booths, each booth having different 'gameplay', teaching users about different topics within blockchain, such as Defi, Future of blockchain, or even something as simple as self-custody wallets. After completing the activity, users can collect NFTs, which are stored within their inventory in game. The user can therefore mint the NFTs to their collected wallet, such as Metamask.

This project was first brought together by building the frontend of the game. The entire overlay, the way each booth works, and the controls. Eventually, we made it mobile centric, changing controls from arrow keys to touch controls. A gameboy look was purposefully added for a tinge of nostalgia. Due to the mobile centric design, we integrated the entire web app onto World App using their minikit SDK commands. That said, users are required to have the world app and have a world ID to enter our carnival. Planning ahead, we decided to deploy our entire app on Flow Blockchain. Flow's entire architecture fits our educational aspect of the game, and allows scalability in the future, mainly due to its low fees and fast network. Moreover, their focus on absolute dollar free cash flow gives rise to sustainable growth. Their recent entry into the EVM market was also another attractive point to use their blockchain.
