SAVVY | DeFi for teens: Project to onboard high school students through schools to DeFi with saving and investing strategies with a safe and educational approach.
SAVVY is a crypto educational project tailored for high schools and designed to shape financially savvy future generations within the world of digital currencies.
With SAAVY, schools will empower their students to navigate the world of DeFi as informed participants, fueling them with a critical approach to informed and disciplined investment for a brighter future.
Savvy covers the fundamental topics to get started in the DeFi ecosystem. Students will learn: -Practical wallet usage -The key role of stablecoins: a value reserve against volatility -Dollar-cost averaging (DCA), holding, and stop-loss strategies -The risks and benefits of supplying tokens and earning interest -The art of taking profits
To implement our students investment strategy we used the ERC-4626 tokenized vault standard. The GHO token is borrowed via the aave protocol based on the credits in the wallet (USDC, USDT or DAI) of the student. The students can invest based on investment strategies (so far): "just hodl", "strategic hodling" and "hodl staking". A vault handles the investment strategy. Inside the class students can vote for the strategic options: conservative, moderate and aggressive, when choosing the strategic holding. The borrowed GHO is then swapped via uniswap depending on the selected investment strategy. Either eth is selected (hodl or strategic hodling) or rEth for the hodl staking vault. During one school year, the students receive weekly updates regarding profits and stop loss. Automation with chainlink keeps track of the vault and acts in a desired way when needed. At the end of the school year, the shares contained in the vault can be swapped back into GHO. We are providing an emergency exit in addition.
