Project Description

SandStone is an agentic Layer-0 infrastructure built using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), designed to act as an intent settlement layer for Web3. At its core, SandStorm is an AI agent equipped with a suite of MCP tools that can perform specialized blockchain actions such as sending transactions, swapping assets, cross-chain bridging, and on-ramping from fiat to crypto. Instead of developers or users dealing with the complexity of blockchain infrastructure, SandStone abstracts away all the technical overhead. A master agent intelligently decides which tools to call and in what order to fulfill a user’s intent. This enables developers and protocols to build on top of SandStone's base layer, drastically cutting development time and letting them focus on business logic while SandStone handles orderflow, settlement, and reliability.

How it's Made

SandStone is a mobile application built on React Native, which makes it accessible to both Android and iOS as well as web. We deployed out sart contracts, coded in Solidity on Rootstock, which provided us with the security of bitcoin and stability of Ethereum. ENS allows people to not remember complex addresses but rather just remember short ENS names, while ENS handles the rest. We have used python for developing our MCP servers and AI Agents. Further, we have used The Graph's MCP Servers to find the best suitable subgraph for RootStock and generate a history of user's transaction.
