Project Description
It's a mini app on World App and on MiniPay (Celo):
A crypto-based marketplace that uses World ID and Self.xyz sybil resistance mechanisms to ensure only unique humans participate in answering polls purchased by companies and individuals that want to A/B test UI, design, ads, branding, copy, etc.
Users get paid for answering polls, while companies get fast and reliable data about user preferences and sentiment. All payments automated through smart contracts on Worldchain and Celo.
On top of that, in-app prediction markets let anyone bet on the potential outcomes of the polls.
How it's Made
The crucial part of this mini app is World ID and Self.xyz proof-of-humanness technology that ensures that only unique humans can participate in polls, and only answer once. We're storing the humanness verification proof in cookies that are valid for 30 min. so that the user doesn't need to verify humanness for every poll vote, but just once per session.
The app itself is built on React and NextJS, PostgreSQL (Supabase) and deployed on Vercel. Smart contracts (for depositing rewards by poll creators - and for users to claim rewards from the smart contract with our backend's issued signature) are deployed on Worldchain and Celo blockchain.
