Mission:

The 桥 Protocol (pronounced Qiáo, meaning “bridge” in Chinese) is dedicated to bridging the gap between on-chain limitations and off-chain capabilities. Our mission is to empower developers and users with a protocol that seamlessly offloads heavy computations to off-chain environments while ensuring reliable cross-chain interactions and universal contract resolution.

How it's Made

Architecture and Components:

1.	ERC-3668 CCIP Light Clients:
•	The protocol utilizes ERC-3668 Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) light clients to facilitate secure and efficient cross-chain communication without the need for full node implementations.

2. CCIP gateway • An npm package @qiaoprotocol/ccip-gateway created from the ground up with Hono and viem for signing. It has fully composable setup and also leverages lit action to allow for decentralized signing. 3. Contract Factory Deployment: • A robust contract factory deploys customizable CCIP server contracts. Developers can specify payment methods and revert URLs, tailoring the servers to handle specific code snippets and execution requirements. 4. Off-Chain Computation Offloading: • Heavy computational tasks are offloaded to off-chain resources, significantly reducing on-chain gas consumption and improving execution speed without compromising security. 5. Universal ENS Resolver: • Serving as an off-chain resolver for Ethereum Name Service (ENS) subdomains, 桥 Protocol allows smart contracts and methods to be accessed using human-readable names. This universal resolver simplifies contract interaction and enhances user experience. 6. Recording and Logging Mechanisms: • The protocol records inputs, outputs, and side effects of all contract executions. This transparency ensures reliability, aids in debugging, and builds trust within the ecosystem. 7. Functional Programming Compatibility: • By providing global methods compatible with functional programming paradigms, developers can write more efficient and scalable code, leveraging languages and techniques that promote immutability and stateless computations.
