Our financial management app integrates with Plaid to provide users with real-time insights into their financial data, such as credit card history, bank balances, and more. The app analyzes this data to help users make informed financial decisions, like whether they can afford large purchases or how to maintain a strong credit score.

If users are short on funds, the app seamlessly connects them to decentralized lending pools, such as Aave, enabling them to access loans and pay off debts or complete transactions.

Project Build:

We built a financial management app that connects traditional and decentralized finance using the following stack:

• Frontend (React): Provides a clean and intuitive interface for users to view and manage their financial data, including credit card history and bank balances. We used React hooks to manage state and ensure seamless navigation.

• Plaid Integration: We used Plaid to securely access real-time financial data, such as credit card transactions and bank balances. This allows users to make informed decisions, like whether they can afford large purchases or need to borrow funds.

• Web3 Tools:

  • Fhenix: Ensures privacy-preserving computation and secure handling of sensitive financial data through encryption.
  • Dynamic: Manages secure wallet authentication, linking users’ profiles to decentralized finance actions.
  • Story: Visualizes users' financial journeys and tracks their progress over time.
  • Polygon: We deployed smart contracts on Polygon to enable low-cost and fast interactions with DeFi platforms like Aave.

• Smart Contract Development: We developed custom smart contracts to interact with Aave, enabling users to borrow funds when needed and track repayments. Contracts also handle decision-making logic, such as suggesting loans when funds are insufficient.

• Hacky Bits: We implemented an encryption layer using Fhenix, ensuring that all sensitive financial data is encrypted before any analysis or blockchain interaction. This keeps user data private while integrating seamlessly with both traditional and decentralized finance.

By bridging traditional finance data (Plaid) and DeFi (Aave), our app allows users to move smoothly between fiat and crypto environments, providing a powerful financial management tool.
