PEGASWAP PEGASWAP is a cross chain wallet that gamifies the onboarding experience of users new to Web3. It supports all EVM chains and Tezos. Its main features are gasless cross chain swaps and gasless transfers. PEGASWAP reimagines the DeFi onboarding and swapping experience by turning it into a gamified journey — not just a transaction. We integrate 1inch’s cross-chain swap engine, a gas station system for meta-transactions, and a reward-based token economy that lets users customize a magical unicorn wallet avatar through NFT collectibles. PEGASWAP makes swapping tokens fun, accessible, and personal — even for crypto newcomers. The Problem DeFi platforms often suffer from: High onboarding friction (users need native tokens just to get started) Cold, transactional UX with no personalization or reward Low retention after the first swap 🪄 Our Solution: PEGASWAP PEGASWAP turns every swap into progress. Here’s how:

1. Cross-Chain Token Swapping We integrate 1inch’s API to enable seamless, best-rate swaps across multiple chains. Users can interact with PEGASWAP without worrying about which chain they’re on.
2. Gasless Onboarding via Gas Station New users don’t need to own ETH, MATIC, or any native gas token to begin. We sponsor transactions via a meta-transaction relayer (Gas Station) — making it free to start and removing friction.
3. Reward System with Native Token In app ERC-20 Token that only the contract owner can mint. Every time a user swaps (e.g., every $100 in volume), they earn PEGASWAP tokens. These tokens can be used to: Open loot chests to collect cosmetic NFT upgrades
4. NFT-Based Pegasus Wallet Customization The wallet UI is represented by a Pegasus avatar. Each loot chest contains a random body part (horn, tail, wings, etc.) with a random element (e.g., fire, water, earth). When users collect a full pegasus set of the same element, they unlock a special inclusive NFT skin that visually upgrades their wallet interface.

We wrote a smart contract in Solidity that creates an address on all EVM chains and Tezos, then link them together to create a cross chain wallet. We also wrote a Solidity smart contract for our in app ERC-20 token minting and nft minting. Multiple 1inch API keys are used to retrieve information of the connected wallet and display in the portfolio page of the application.
