We allow typedesigners to keep ownership of their work by selling their font as NFTs. When they upload a font we tokenize an image preview and encrypt the font files (licence/ .ttf / .otf, etc) When a graphic designer buy the font nft, we allow the download the font files/licence, by checking his wallet. He then can use the font to design something, and can upload it on Pearl to showcase it, or to sell it as a template, that other designers can buy within the same process (buying the nft, downloading the template). That way, designers and font designers stay in charge of their work and the usage that is made of their creation. We also provide a place for discovery and inspiration, where it's easy to track the source font for a design, a design author, or a font author, or all the designs made from a font, as we retrieve all the data from the nfts.

We used Zora to deploy and mint our typeface collections and retrieve the metadata of the nfts on our frontend NFTStorage and NFTup to upload the preview image to ipfs for the nft and the encrypted Data for the licence LitProtocol to encrypt and decrypt the font data depending on if a wallet contains the nft Rainbow Kit to connect wallet, We are also using using typescript Javascript React Node.js GraphQL, Figma, After effects,
