Partier
Partier is a decentralized mobile instagram-like social network that aims to bring together in the same platform parties, social gatherings and meetings of crypto events where you can generate an NFT ticket to your side-event and people can buy it with their crypto wallets.
Project Description
One of the main issues of being a beginner in the Crypto environment is based on the fact that most side-events, gatherings, and parties don’t have a single and simple platform to find these events to network with other people related to Web3 and have to use platforms that can generate some sort of challenge to find such events. So, our solution is to create a simple, yet effective, decentralized instagram-like social network that aims to bring the same mobile application using Polygon blockchain for availability and low price on transactions. This dApp exposes all the side-events of a specific conferences in a same timeline with pictures stored in the IPFS Web3.storage and it generates the tickets of such gatherings as NFT’s that are stored in IPFS NFT.storage. Those tickets are untransferable to guarantee that there are no scalpers/botters. Now, event organizers can use a decentralized way to advertise and sell tickets to their events.
How it's Made
This mobile social network was built using React for the Frontend, the Smart Contracts were programmed using Solidity and deployed in the Polygon Mumbai testnet using hardhat.
@Polygon We are using Polygon to deploy the contract that runs the application and mints the tickets NFT’s.
@IPFS & Filecoin NFT.storage: We are using IPFS Web3.storage to store the image of the gatherings posts and IPFS NFT.storage to store the NFT tickets bought by the users.
@Coinbase: We are using Coinbase to enable our users to log in and interact with our decentralized social network. After connecting with the wallet, the user can buy tickets for the gatherings they choose as NFT’s.
