Project Description
ParlayMarket is a sophisticated decentralized application (dApp) that enables users to create, trade, and settle multi-leg parlay bets on prediction market outcomes in a completely trust-minimized, non-custodial manner. The platform leverages Flare Network's unique blockchain infrastructure and its Flare Data Connector (FDC) oracle system to bring real-world prediction market data on-chain with cryptographic verification.
How it's Made
ParlayMarket is built with Solidity 0.8.20 smart contracts (ParlayMarket, ParlayToken ERC-721, FlarePolymarketOracle) deployed via Hardhat to Flare Coston2 testnet. The frontend uses Next.js 16 with React 19, TypeScript, and Ethers.js v6 for Web3 interactions.
The key feature is the Flare Data Connector (FDC) integration: an oracle built into the L1 that verifies Polymarket resolution data with Merkle proofs, eliminating centralized oracle trust. Our FlarePolymarketOracle.sol accepts cryptographic attestations, verifies them against FDC contracts, and stores verified outcomes.
