This project is a cross-platform manga discovery community built by real manga readers. Today, every manga platform has its own rankings, reviews, and comments, but those valuable insights are locked inside each individual platform. For manga fans, however, it doesn’t matter where a series is published. What matters is discovering great manga.

Users register the manga they are currently reading and vote for their favorite newly released chapter on each release day. Identity verification ensures that every vote comes from one real person, creating rankings based on genuine manga fans rather than bots or multiple accounts.

But rankings are only the beginning. AI analyzes each user’s reading history and voting history to find other users with similar manga preferences. It then recommends manga that those users have read but the user has not. We believe that for readers who have already finished many popular series, discovering manga through readers with similar tastes is far more valuable than relying on traditional recommendation algorithms.

When someone helps the community discover a great manga, other users can reward them with a non-transferable NFT. This NFT cannot be bought or sold—it represents the reputation that person has earned as a manga fan. Every three months, AI summarizes the contributions of the leading community members, and the community votes to decide who should receive this recognition.

The goal of this project is to connect manga fans across platforms, helping readers discover hidden masterpieces and new series they might otherwise never find. At the same time, it creates a new ecosystem where manga fans who contribute valuable discoveries are recognized and rewarded through a transparent reputation system.

We built a full-stack cross-platform manga discovery community with both a frontend and backend application. Users register the manga they are reading, vote for newly released chapters, and discover other readers with similar tastes based on their reading and voting history.

We used World ID to verify that every vote comes from one real person, preventing bots and duplicate accounts while ensuring that community rankings reflect genuine reader opinions.

We used Hedera to build our blockchain-based reputation system. When someone consistently helps the community discover great manga, other users can reward them with a non-transferable NFT that represents their reputation as a manga fan. These NFTs cannot be transferred or traded, making them a trustworthy record of community recognition rather than a financial asset.

One of the most interesting aspects of the project is that AI does not recommend manga directly. Instead, it analyzes users’ reading and voting histories to identify readers with similar preferences. Recommendations are then generated from those readers’ reading histories, allowing manga fans—not algorithms—to drive discovery while using blockchain to create a transparent and verifiable reputation system.
