Opening the doors to 3D asset creation to those aged 8 to 80 through a revolutionary 3D scanning software, private metaverse playroom, and an open NFT marketplace.
Origami is a platform that allows anyone to create, visualise, and sell, 3D models without any special equipment or technical knowledge. Users as young as six years old scan physical objects in their environment using the Organika 3D scanning software, downloaded on their tablet or phone. Taking many images at once, the user revolves around the object to cover all angles. These images are uploaded to the Organika cloud to process using an A.I network. In under 10 minutes, a 3D model is rendered and sent back to the user. From there, Origami users can either view their 3D asset in a private metaverse room, visualising, interacting with, and later integrating the model into their games. Or, users can mint the NFT and list the asset in the Origami marketplace, a ‘stock photos’ for 3D models ecosystem. To incentivise young creators, there are no fees to download the 3D scanning software, upload and render scanned objects, or visualise these items in their private bedroom metaverse. There is a small fee to mint the NFT if they choose to licence it out to our marketplace. On the buyer side, a tiered subscription model allows companies to acquire a range of 3D assets using a credits-based system, ranging from local to universal plans. Buyers can also commission specific objects on-demand at a fixed price. Creators are constantly reviewed to inspire them to improve their 3D scanning skills, and increase their quality of work. This includes a five star review system and individual asset feedback to provide creators with helpful improvements and buyers with evaluation assurance. Origami allows anyone from ages 8 to 80 the freedom to create 3D assets and integrate them into a metaverse. We’re making the first fold in democratising 3D modelling.
We are using React JS for our front end, Moralis SDK to authenticate with metamask and interact with the smart contracts.
Lighthouse provides a IPFS interaction layer and Polygon is used to deploy our NFT and contracts.
3D Scans are zipped in a file and uploaded to IPFS, those files are processed by our A.I. GPU network to create the 3D objects from 2D images.
The 3D objects are uploaded back into IPFS for review and minting in the blockchain.
