Opto is built as a cross-chain investment protocol powered by LayerZero, designed to make DeFi strategies seamless across multiple ecosystems. We utilizing LayerZero to bridge native gas token from source chain to target chain. So user don't need to have any gas tokens on their target chain. Our goal was to abstract away bridging, token swapping, and protocol interaction—delivering a one-click cross-chain yield farming experience.

Cross-chain integration Hedera: Integrated with Stader (HBARX) and Bonzo Finance for staking and yield. Used SaucerSwap to enable automatic HBAR ↔ HBARX swaps. Leveraged Hedera Token Service (HTS) + EVM compatibility for smooth contract execution.

Flow: Integrated with StableKitty (WFLOW) for stable yield opportunities. Used swap.kittypunch.xy to handle WFLOW and USDF conversions.

Sepolia (EVM): Connected to Aave Lending (USDC) as the high-yield entry point. Users only need USDC on an EVM chain

Opto handles bridging, swaps, and cross-chain routing automatically.

Nora AI-powered dev tooling: Integrated Nora for Solidity code suggestions, cross-contract reasoning, and optimization—accelerating iteration.

Data aggregation:

Built a unified state syncing layer to aggregate DeFi data across Hedera, Flow, and EVM.

Implemented a web crawler to fetch the latest DeFi protocols/APRs, feeding into our dashboard.

Integrated LLM + RAG to analyze strategies and give users deeper insights.

Hacky but notable

Built a cross-chain transaction router that auto-routes multi-step investments (bridge + swap + deposit) with minimal latency.

Designed a unified portfolio dashboard showing multi-chain assets in real time—withdrawals possible in one click.

Used AI both in the developer loop (Nora) and the user loop (LLM+RAG analysis), making the workflow faster and insights richer.
