OnChain 4 Cause

This is a project made for the ETH Global Bangkok 2024. On Chain 4 Cause is a blockchain-based platform empowering people to support charities through sports and fundraising. Charities sign up, add events like marathons or triathlons, and individuals generate personalized fundraising links. If participants reach their goal (e.g., a €500 registration fee), the charity covers it, and all extra funds go to the cause. With blockchain transparency, charities also show exactly how donations are spent, ensuring every effort makes a real impact.

A amart contract has been deployed to both Chiliz and Polygon (verification and has been done using Blockscout for Polygon zkEVM Cardona, as Blockscout is currently not available for Polygon Amoy) This contract handles the event creation, that is the first step (done by charities) so that individuals can generate fundraising links (also handled using the smart contract) All the management of the ERC20 tokens used to pay (in particular, USDC from Circle has been enabled to be used, as it is easier for users to understand, onramp and offramp). Everything has been account abstracted using Web3Auth (although onramp has not been enabled as it is not available in testnet) At the contract level, Chronicle has been implemented for the contract to store a fiat equivalent amount of the ERC20 tokens used to contribute to the event. Additionally, Akave has been used to store some of the project assets - being limited by the updates, but acting as a repository for the metadata associated to the events and fundraisings of the contract -. Finally, NounsDAO design has been implemented in the project.
