Project Description

With NPass we are building a community where creators, businesses and influencers can increase their engagement with customers and audiences by minting(we call it brewing an NFT!) NFT’s on-chain for contests, marketing events and exclusive parties.

Creators would mint NFTs using our platform, for their events and rent it out to the audience, for the events, The platform would also serve the purpose of keeping track of the claimed NFTs and help in understanding user engagement.

The platform also enables long-term rentals of specially minted NFTs that can be rented among the members of the same community, making the NFTs to be rented within the community based on rules set by the owner. This would further increase the engagement and interaction among the members allowing the NFT value to vary dynamically.

How it's Made

We decided to go with the Skale network building and scaling our blockchain network owing to the zero gas fees and high throughput that the network provides. Secondly, we wanted to leverage the on-chain file storage solution of Skale instead of IPFS to make our platform more reliable. For our use case, we have used the rental NFT token standard of ERC 4907 to create a rentable NFT using the Rentable NFT factory contract. Users of the platform have the option to maintain multiple source addresses …

Challenges we faced?

We had to flex our mental muscles to solve some of the technical issues with our project. One was dynamically minting NFT for different collections. The second was integrating filestorage.js into angular.

The tech stack for our Dapp can be summarized below
