Project Description

Nook.rent is a P2P sublet marketplace for digital nomads looking for stays of 3 to 90 nights. Hosts set the dates, price, deposit, and approval rules. Guests can ask an agent to find a suitable home and reserve it, but the agent cannot change the price or approve the booking. World verifies the human behind the agent, The Graph checks its live registration, and Hedera Testnet handles the deposit and booking evidence.

How it's Made

We built Nook.rent in TypeScript with React and Vite for the frontend, Fastify for the API, and Supabase Postgres for listings, holds, and bookings. OpenAI helps draft listings and interpret guest searches, while dates, prices, deposits, and approvals remain deterministic. World ID and AgentKit protect member and agent actions. The Graph checks the agent’s live Agent0 registration before it can reserve dates. Deposits use an HTS test token on Hedera Testnet, are confirmed through Mirror Node, and are recorded as pseudonymous HCS events. We use Hedera’s native services with no Solidity.
