A web3 based application for curating africa- basaed NFTs. These NFTs are distinct African Arts that are dewsigned to showcase African Artifacts to the world.
Project Description
This project named NFTAfrica uses IPFS / Filcoin's NFT.storage mechanism to store African Arts as NFTs. A users can register this arts as NFTs and its metadata is stored on IPFS decentralized storage using NFT.Storage mechanism. The metadata was stored on blockchain but the raw data on NFT.storage. Users can NFTs that can be sold on the marketplace to make profit. NFTs are purely African arts and culture.
How it's Made
This project uses the unstoppable wallet with World ID to verfiy unique personhood to users. This helps to identify unique users of the marketplace. Solidity smartcontarct was used to write the NFT marketplace and NFT.Storage, a product from IPFS/Filecoin was used to store NFTAfrrica assets. Users create this assets and metadata stored on blockchain. nFTPort used to mint proof of asset created. Stored on Valist, Contract deployed to Aurora Testnet
