Project Description

Problem Statement

Right now tokens on 1 chain can’t be used on another directly. If someone want’s to use their tokens on the other chain they have to bridge the tokens first and only then they can use it. Although this solution works there are couple of problem in doing this

Problems:

  • Bridging assets takes time
  • Fees are charged by the bridges every time you bridge
  • Your funds are fragmented across different chains

Solution

User deposits their funds on 1 chain and after depositing this funds he can use this funds on any chain without bridging becuase we would be sponsoring users transaction (both ERC20 and native token). Nodes/multilane is sponsoring the transaction becuase we know the user has deposited one funds on one chain and he can pay for this tx in future.

Deposit

When user deposit their funds on a chain then there are two ways to withdraw

  1. Asking multilane node for withdraw requiest.
  2. Trustless withdraw: Different blockchain communicate with each other via brige and prove that your withdrawl is legit and you can withdraw without anyone's approval

Defaulters

  1. If user doesn't pay then same like trustless withdraw there will be trustless pay. Here chains communicate with eachother via bridge and prove that user's has outstanding bill pending hence reducing the bill from their balance
