Project Description
Welcome to MintMatch, where the world of NFT enthusiasts and creators collide in a colorful dance of swiping, matching, and chatting! Discard Tinder, jump into the web3 social app, you’ve got a place where matches are made based on NFT profiles and categories. It’s more than about making friends, discovering unique digital art, and yes, swiping right! It provides a marketplace function for both users and creators.
With our robust recommendation system, we curate the best list of NFT profiles for our users. For user-to-user interactions, by leveraging XMTP (Extensible Message Transport Protocol), participants can chat using their wallet addresses while maintaining anonymity. In the chatroom, we offer features that allow users to showcase their prestigious NFTs. Whether buying, selling, or transferring, all actions can be executed seamlessly in the DMs. MintMatch ensures a secure transaction process to guarantee that both parties receive what they are due.
For user-to-creator interactions, creators are permitted to advertise their NFT masterpieces, and users can swipe "like" to subscribe to the collection. Users can directly communicate with the creator and mint the NFT in the chatroom. It’s super convenient!
In conclusion, MintMatch is a multifunctional integrated platform. One of our goals is to revolutionize how people search for NFTs they love. With the simplest action, you can perform on a phone, "swipe", NFT enthusiasts no longer need to navigate through extensive websites to find the collections they desire. With our application, spend the least amount of time to discover the best friends and finest NFTs.
How it's Made
This project uses NextJs as the frontend system, which we integrated with the Wagmi tool kit and XMTP SDK for the chatting system. We leverage the XMTP to create a more secure and anonymous conversation. For the matching system, our backend uses Python, Firebase and Flask to create API and calculate the correlated score for each user. Lastly, we deploy a smart contract on Polygon testnet - Mumbai to handle the NFT transaction for users.
