Project Description

Anyone can easily our repository in Railgun and get a ready-to-use, agent-operated platform for creating and distributing tokenized assets. With Hermes, they can launch tokens on Hedera or EVM, define who may receive or continue holding them, and manage their lifecycle without manually operating blockchain tools - and in natural language.

Users browse a public marketplace, connect a wallet, request a token, and complete the required World ID checks. Hermes verifies each result through dedicated MCP tools and autonomously approves or rejects distribution. For EVM assets, The Graph supplies indexed transfer and holder data, giving the agent data about the tokens it manages.

The result combines token issuance, identity-based access, automated distribution, and onchain monitoring in one simple deployable system.

How it's Made

We built a public Next.js storefront and a private Hermes admin console that run together as a single Railway service. The storefront, API, agent dashboard, and MCP servers live in the same repository, so an admin can deploy and configure the complete platform from one place.

Hermes is connected to four custom MCP integrations.

  1. The Hedera MCP uses native HTS services to deploy and operate tokens without Solidity.
  2. The EVM MCP deploys ERC-20 tokens on Sepolia.
  3. The World ID MCP triggers holder verification in our trusted backend.
  4. The Graph MCP queries a custom subgraph indexing EVM transfers, balances, and holders.

Together, these tools let Hermes deploy, monitor, and operate tokens from a conversation.

The admin describes the token and its eligibility rules to Hermes. A user then connects a wallet, requests the token, and completes the required World ID check. Raw proofs remain in the trusted Next.js backend; Hermes receives only a sanitized verification result. It evaluates that result against the token policy and either rejects the request or executes the distribution. The application uses TypeScript, React, SQLite, WalletConnect, Python, and Starlette, with a single reverse proxy separating the public storefront from the private operator console.
