EVM based Web3 Game Streaming & Community Management Platform for Play & Earn
Centralised streaming platforms exploit streamers' hard work and community influence through unfair compensation practices, lacking transparency and consensus.
Gamers invest significant time and money in games without receiving ownership, alignment, or governance, highlighting the absence of a GameFi streaming infrastructure for crypto and NFT payouts.
Transitioning from web2 game publishers' methods of acquiring and retaining users (paid ads, paid media) to a Web3 approach based on contribution (airdrops, referrals, engagement) is needed.
PlayVerse is an interactive online gaming and learning platform that provides live gaming tutorials and tournaments for games built on the EVM blockchains.
The next evolutionary step is towards the Gamefi streaming platform. Create a sustainable ecosystem running on blockchain where game publishers, streamers and the gamer community all benefit from the contribution.
We empower streamers by eliminating high commission rates, eradicating arbitrary increases imposed solely by the company, significantly reducing holding periods for funds, providing clear and concise guidelines regarding account bans based on legal matters, ensuring complete transparency, and fostering a strong sense of community consensus. By doing so, we restore the integrity of the streaming ecosystem and bolster the invaluable influence and support that streamers have diligently cultivated to achieve remarkable success.

PlayVerse envisions the creation of an immersive, impartial, and inclusive ecosystem for web3 gamers worldwide, providing a dynamic platform for gaming and learning on EVM-based blockchains. In the pursuit of this vision, our journey encountered several challenges that tested our adaptability and problem-solving skills.
EVM Blockchain The transition to EVM-based blockchains, familiarizing ourselves with the Ethereum Virtual Machine and its associated languages, introduced a unique set of challenges. Having primarily developed in Solidity and Rust, the adjustment to EVM languages required swift learning and adaptation. Within the compressed 2-day timeframe, we faced intricacies in integrating EVM-based smart contracts with the frontend. Our team engaged with the blockchain community, leveraging available resources and documentation, to successfully navigate and resolve these challenges.
Anon Adhaar Issue In our quest to implement Anon Adhaar for user authentication via Adhaar Cards, we incorporated Anon Adhaar package for user authentication. This relatively new tool posed documentation challenges, and i encountered obstacles during implementation. Engaging with the broader blockchain community during the hackathon proved beneficial. Through collaborative efforts and direct assistance from the team on Telegram, we successfully resolved the challenges, ensuring a seamless user authentication process just in time.
LivePeer Integration & EVM Wallet Flow Integrating LivePeer for live streaming of games and coupling it with the EVM Wallet was another frontier we explored. While the LivePeer SDK integration with the frontend proceeded smoothly, challenges arose in interactions with the LivePeer API. Despite consuming additional time, we diligently addressed and resolved the issues, ensuring a cohesive and effective LivePeer integration within the EVM Wallet flow.
